Screening for Sleep Apnea
To find out if you have sleep apnea, take the STOP-BANG test to see if you are at risk for sleep apnea. If you risk is high, call us or stop in to book an appointment for a free sleep diagnostic test. Sleep testing is done overnight in the comfort of your home.
A doctor’s referral is not required for testing, however it is good to have your physician involved, as the results are forwarded to him or her.
PEI Home Oxygen Program
The province of Prince Edward Island has a program in place called the Home Oxygen Program to help patients with the costs of home oxygen therapy. Under this program, 50% of eligible home oxygen expenses are paid by the government up to a limit of $200 per month.
